Soap&Glory has gained a new fan.

Being 20 years old, I find it hard to find skin products that tame my combination skin as well as covering up my (hopefully fading away) spots, and even out my skin tone. An impossible task it seems however, I recently bought a 'Face Time' gift set from Soap&Glory, that included a handful of skin care products, such as BB cream, lip balm and puffy eye cream. Since then I have been hooked on the brand.
Today I received my order of more skin care and beauty products from S&P, and I must say I am really impressed. Not only is S&G such a great price, its also great quality as works wonders on my skin!

I still have my regulars such as MAC bronzer, Topshop highlighter, and Revlon Colour Stay foundation, but together my face has been illuminated.
Here is an image of my make up today, using my new products as well as my usual products listed above. I think I have found a new go to brand!

Using products seen, and listed above. Wearing Missguided top and TopShop necklace.

Soap&Glory can be found at http://www.boots.com/en/Beauty/The-Beauty-Boutique/Soap-Glory/ and any large Boots store in the UK.

My Recent S/S 14 Purchases!

I am in love with all the pastel colours about this coming spring summer season, the best affordable collection I've seen so far is definitely Missguided.co.uk 's. They have a fast range of clothing in a selection of pastel pinks and baby blues, which are perfect. I went ahead and purchased a lovely nude/pink box top, its so comfy, and extremely versatile. I can wear it casual with a pair of floral shorts, or dress is up with a mini PVC skirt in either black or white (also found on Missguided) with a statement necklace.
Buy it here

You can also head into TopShop, they have a range of pastel pieces available, I found my new mint green crop fluffy jumper in the sale for £18 which is such a bargain. I'm looking forward to pairing this with my leather pants, and white shirt.

Whilst in TopShop today I also bought a new lipstick, I've been after a berry colour to break up my new lighter colour palette and found the perfect shade. It's the 'Inhibition' shade, which you can buy at any TopShop for £8.  I think it's my new favourite all year round colour.

I will make sure to post a picture of these items styled like above very soon, but in the mean time here is a couple of still shots of my recent purchases, and a link to Missguided (http://www.missguided.co.uk/)
so you can check out their amazing new pieces.

The Empty Shop.

On Thursday 30th January I volunteered at The Empty Shop in the Arndale Centre Manchester, and what a day it was.

The Empty Shop was set up in partnership with Mustard Tree to get clothes donations from the public, that would later be taken to people  in need. I thought this was such a fab idea I just had to get involved.

The shop has already been open a week before I volunteered as a blogger/stylist for the day, there had been such a great response from the public and they were already passed their 100th donator.

My role for the day was to style the mannequins in the clothes from the donation, this being a promotional aid to help bring people into the shop and ask questions. Not only did we have donations from the public of second hand clothing, but retailers such as Jones and Jones were also coming and donating a selection of clothing from their stores.

It felt so good to be a part of something amazing, and it was great to see the people of Manchester and surrounding areas coming together to help people in need.

Although the shop closed this past Sunday, I hope The Empty Shop will become an annual project, and due to the success of this first trial will spread the shop all over the UK/ World.

Here are a few images from the day.

Mannequins styled by myself and Rachel a freelance stylist also volunteering.

My NTA's 2014 best dressed list!

Although I personally didn't watch the National Television Awards, I did of course have a gander through the press pictures, and was pleasantly surprised to see some really amazing pieces! The nights favourite designer was without a doubt Phillip Armstrong with numerous television stars walking down the red carpet wearing his gorgeous gowns.

The stand outs for me were, Abbey Clancy of course she always looks perfectly put together in a figure hugging number (this time being Phillip Armstrong), Fearne Cotton in a mesmerizing white vintage number with embroidered cape, and Laura Whitmore in her monochrome two piece, was just amazing paired with the red lip.Another look I loved was Caroline Flack in her all in white short and blazer combo, paired with her signature waved hair and smokey eye.

I've been away for so long! So here is an outfit post from today, featuring TopShop, Primark and vintage Versace!

Today I had a store approval for my new job on the Mulberry concession in House of Fraser! SO EXCITED! My outfit had to be smart of course but also not too boring, so I added a bit of colour and texture with my new TopShop cropped sequin jumper. I got it in the Xmas sales, but with pastels in for S/S 14 I can see this being one of my staple pieces this year! I layered it under a simple blouse from Primark, something I recommend everyone should have in their wardrobe, and my vintage Versace Jeans Couture leather skirt (which I hope to fit in forever). Finally you cant go wrong with opaques and a pair a black ankle boots to finish my outfit off.

Because it's January, I couldn't leave the house without a coat so I chose my Zara boyfriend fit coat. I love it and its so comfortable! I've had it a year now and don't see myself giving it up any time soon.

I've of course added a few images of my outfit to this post! This was after i'd been out so ignore my wind swept hair please!

TopShop jumper £15, Primark blouse £9, Versace leather skirt £19 (Ebay), Zara coat £70, H&M tights £6.99, Boohoo boots £34.99 (approx).
