Review of my All Star Converse high tops!

So the other day I purchased a brand new pair of high top Converse, and I am excited to now be writing a review for them on my blog.

Let me just start off by saying how comfy they are! The faux sheep fur lining also kept my feet warm and away from the cold. I found the trainers so comfy that they may replace my ballet flat for my day to day shoe. Not only do they keep my feet warm, but the thick sole also keeps my feet dry from the rain and wet pavements. They have also sealed up the air holes found at the side, which I believe to be a new feature, as I am sure my old converse had the holes functional and open. This causing water to seep into my old shoes when raining which was very annoying.

These trainers will literally go with anything, and although trainers have become the shoe of choice for a cheap night out, I think I will stick to wearing them during the day, for university and shopping trips with the girls. The only thing I found I didn't like was that the top of the shoe began to catch/rub on the top of my ankle when I walked, but that could easily be solved by wearing bigger socks not trainer socks like me.

On the day I wore them I paired them with a classic pair of skinny black jeans, a jumper, my aviator jacket with faux sheep skin collar, and check scarf. As you can imagine I was braving the cold night.

Although I wore my converse with quite a simple outfit you could definitely play around with these and wear them with a pair of leather pants turned up to the ankles, with shift tunic layered underneath a statement leather jacket, accessorised with a faux fur snood, and matching hat/headband. Or for a smarter look, try pairing them with a pair of leather look leggings, a wool knit coat (with layers underneath), cashmere scarf, and a pair of classic leather gloves.

I will make a collection of these ideas and post them on my blog to give you some visual inspiration.
